Hair: Black, Almost always worn loose and down her back. Occasionally braided or pulled up for work, reaching mid back. She takes great pride in her appearance and is always using oils on her hair to ensure it is silky soft and smells wonderful.

Distinguishing Marks: Not many, a small scar on her side and beyond that her body paint which she often wears with a metallic gold color, or henna designs.

History

Sun Kitten

Life in a tribe can be interesting... When she was born, N'akani found herself in a loving family. Her father, the Nuhn to the tribe took great pride in his second born daughter and they bonded from day one. From the moment she could walk, N'akani followed her father around relentlessly, ever the curious M'kitten. As she got a bit older she followed in his steps, training with daggers and a basic bow for hunting. With her older brother and sister, it was constant competition for their father's praise an attention, though they were all loved by him. While N'akani was still close with her mother, they often butted heads as both were incredibly stubborn. Unfortunately the pleasany life came to a harsh end when a challenger, using trickery instead of honor in battle, bested her father for Nuhn and slaughtered him after using her as a shield during the combat, forcing her father to mis-step his attack and ultimate leaving himself open to a strike. Despite the deception, their Nuhn was dead and the interloper claimed the title. Her world came crashing down and from them on her life was a nightmare.

Ul'Dah Life

Leaving home was the hardest choice she had ever made, but after the betrayal of her mother, in gifting her to the new Nuhn as barely a teenager, the murder of her father and the subsequent suffering she endured, N'akani could no long bear to stay and at mere fourteen summer old, she abandoned everything she knew and ventured out on her own. The path took her to Ul'Dah where she learned much about the world, and how cruel it could be no matter where one went. In order to survive, the Seeker had to get smarter, faster and more creative than those around her. She learned how to use her appearance to her benefit and became fairly skilled at petty theft and deception, as well as leading her to work as a dancer and companion simply to survive. This occasionally caused her to fall into the hands of the Brass Blades, and while they pitied the young Miqo'te, they still had a job to do. Discovering a talent with makeup and painting, N'akani managed to go slightly legitimate and start her own business, though the fact that she was easily distracted and prone to trouble kept her from really excelling for some years. Ultimately it was a simple twist in fate that put her on a better path in life. She met a Raen who ended up being the one to guide her to a much safer and positive life.

New Horizons

Her life took a whirlwind of change and N'akani went from living on the streets to a more stable homelife. She became part of a Company and while not entirely abandoning her devious ways, N'akani improved significantly and spent less time getting in trouble and more time figuring out her life. Friendships blossomed into relationships and she found herself involved with the Raen and his mate. With life settling into a more pleasant one, the Seeker's attention had shifted to her past, and exacting the revenge she suppressed within her heart. Throught the training and assistance of her Company, the Seeker ultimately found the one who had killed her father and had bested him in a fight to the death, achieving her revenge, exiling her mother, and granting her siblings the first bit of comfort and safety they'd had in years. With her only goal secured, it left N'akani to seek new endeavors and adventures with her friends and family.

N'akani is rarely in the same place for long and she is quite active in her travels making it very easy to cross paths. She could be at an Inn, in the markets, or simply walking down the road! Perhaps she robbed you? Or tried to con you out of a dinner and drinks? Neither is beyond this deviant to do. Her friendly nature is both delightful and dangerous.

Customer or Merchant

By profession, N'akani is a makeup and body paint artist, specializing in acting troupes and large audience displays. She also does makeup and henna work for ceremonies and brides. In order to produce her high quality work, she only seeks the best paints and products, which can take her all over Eorzea and Othard. If you're an actor or perhaps a blushing bride and you need an artist, or a merchant that specializes in dyes and pigments? She's your girl!

Authority Figure | Brass Blades

Are you a Brass Blade? You've probably arrested her at some point... N'akani has a bit of a history of petty theft and public intoxication as well as the odd fight and skipping out on a bill. She's not much of a threat, and majority of the time they only hold her overnight until she's sober enough to go home. Some she's even befriended due to the amount of times they've had to come pick her up and deal with her antics. While not as well acquainted in the other City States, she had certainly crossed paths with different authority figures and has found herself in trouble many times...
